Plates were coated with 0.5 μg/mL or 1 μg/mL of E. canis gp19 antigen. Results are reported as mean OD values ± standard deviation. Each sample was tested diluted 1:100 in duplicate, with the conjugate antibody at 1:30,000 and 1:40,000 dilutions. The cut-off was calculated as the mean OD value of negative samples plus 3 times standard deviation, considering positive or negative samples with OD values 10% above or below the cut-off, respectively. NEG: negative samples; POS: positive sample; n.d.: not determined.
