Les auteurs font état de la première mention de Phlebotomus mascittii Grassi, 1908 en Espagne. L’espèce a été capturée en Catalogne dans les provinces de Gérone et de Barcelone. Au total, 7 individus (4♂, 3♀) ont été récoltés (technique des pièges adhésifs) dans quatre stations des étages subméditerranéen et montagnard (altitude comprise entre 650 et 780 mètres).
Abstract
The authors have made the first discovery of Phlebotomus mascittii in Spain. The species was caught in Catalonia in the provinces of Gerona and Barcelona. Altogether 7 individual sandflies (4♂, 3♀) were collected (using oiled paper traps) in four separate sub-mediterranean sites (between 650 and 780 m).
