Maximum likelihood phylogeny inferred on the mitochondrial genomes of Dermacentor (Indocentor) auratus obtained in this study (MW034677) (highlighted) and 41 other tick mitochondrial genomes retrieved from GenBank. Accession numbers of the sequences are provided between vertical bars. The mitogenomes of the Argasidae and Nuttalliellidae were used as outgroups to root the tree. The ML analysis used the GTR + Γ + I model of evolution [26]. Reliability of tree topology, branch support and nodal robustness were assessed by non-parametric bootstrap using 1000 replicates (only >70% shown). Analysis performed with MEGA X [12].
