100 × (Dt − Du)/Eu where “Bu” is the total number of blood-fed mosquitoes in the huts with untreated nets, and “Bt” is the total number of blood-fed mosquitoes in the huts with treated nets. “Dt” is the number of dead mosquitoes in huts with treated nets, and “Du” the number of dead mosquitoes in the control hut.
