Monthly frequency distribution of Phlebotomus ariasi ♂ + ♀ (sampling with sticky-paper traps): in the Cévennes region in 1960 and in Pyrénées-Orientales region in 1981. The subhumid bioclimatic conditions in the Pyrénées-Orientales could explain the bimodal distribution pattern and the autumn frequency spread.
