Variations in mean monthly temperatures at the Montpellier-Fréjorgues (France) meteorological station between 1946 and 2004 (blue triangle: 1981, year of the study). The data have a normal distribution and the regression is significant (trend curve: Y = 0.0024, X + 13.511). The temperature increase over the considered period was 1.895 ± 0.068 °C.
