The Tenth International Conference on trichinellosis, organized by the International Commission on Trichinellosis, gathered together 147 scientists from 34 countries. The 173 presentations ranged over most aspects of this parasitic zoonosis: history, epidemiology, speciation, biology, immunology, biochemistry, human and anima pathology, new diagnostic methods and control.
