Un exemplaire femelle de Phlebotomus (Larroussius) ariasi Tonnoir, 1921 a été capturé dans l'île de Fuerteventura (Canaries, Espagne). Cette découverte vient à l'appui de la théorie de l'origine africaine des Canaries orientales.
Abstract
One female of Phlebotomus (Larroussius) ariasi Tonnoir, 1921 has been trapped in the island of Fuerteventura (Canaries, Spain). This first record of this species in these islands is in favour of the african origin of the eastern Canaries.
