Résumé

1. Pudica pujoli n. sp. (Heligmonellidae-Pudicinae) est décrite chez Microcavia niata, Rongeur Caviidae en Bolivie. Elle se distingue des autres espèces du genre par la forme en crochet de l’extrémité distale des spicules et par l’allongement du vestibule qui atteint plus de trois fois la hauteur du sphincter.

2. Définition du genre Pudica Travassos et Darriba, 1929, parasite de Rongeurs Échimyidés, Dasyproctidés et Myocastoridés. La liste des espèces du genre est donnée.

Abstract

1. Pudica pujoli n. sp. (Heligmonellidae-Pudicinae) is described from a caviid rodent, Microcavia niata in Bolivia. The species can be distinguished from the other species classified in the genus Pudica by the hooked-shape of the spicules’ tips and by the length of the vestibule (more three times than length of the sphincter).

2. Définition of the genus Pudica Travassos and Darriba, 1929, parasitic in echimyid, dasyproctid and myocastorid rodents. A list of the species placed in the genus Pudica is given.
