Abstract
Drawings of the anterior thoracic spiracles of larvae of the six Italian Gasterophilus species are provided for the first time comparatively. The most occurring measures of the various structural details of the anterior thoracic and post-abdominal spiracles of all species are herein reported.
A morphologic comparison among the spiracles of the various Gasterophilus species has pointed out possible phylogenetic ties among species, being apparently very different.
