Cette nouvelle espèce appartient morphologiquement au groupe de Caenopsylla inféodé aux Ctenodactylidae. Elle se caractérise immédiatement chez le mâle (la femelle n’est pas connue à ce jour) par la sétation du méso- et du métathorax et la structure des segments VIII et particulièrement IX dont le sternite est bifurqué en forme de fronde.
Abstract
This new species belongs morphologically to the group of Caenopsylla parasite of the Ctenodactylidae. The male is immediatly caracterized (the female is not known until now) by the setation of the meso- and metathorax and the structure of the VIII and particularly IX segments : its sternite has a sling shape.
