Abstract
Onchocerca fasciata R. and H., 1910, a parasite of the dromedary is redescribed for material collected at Abha, Saudia Arabia. This Onchocerca, which is the only representative of the genus in camelids, is by its primitive morphology closest to species parasitic in equids (O. reticulata, O. cervicalis and O. raillieti).
