Lors des infestations par voie intra-cavitaire, l’embryon d’Hymenolepis nana var. fraterna se développe jusqu’au stade cysticercoïde chez la Blatte Leucophaea maderae, naturellement résistante à l’infestation par ce Cestode.
Nous observons l’aspect des réactions de l’Insecte et le tégument de la larve, en les comparant au développement chez un hôte intermédiaire normal, Tenebrio molitor.
Abstract
When embryos of Hymenolepis nana var. fraterna are injected abdominally, they are able to reach the cysticercoid stage in the haemocele of Leucophaea maderae which naturally resist to infection by ingestion of the eggs. The haemocytic defence reaction of the cockroach and the structure of the surface of larvae are examined and compared with development in a natural host Tenebrio molitor.
