Oestradiol does not modify the proportion between male and female S. mansoni worms in experimental infestation of the golden female hamster

Au cours de cette expérimentation, nous avons confirmé l’action inhibitrice de l’oestradiol sur la parasitologie expérimentale à Schistosoma mansoni du Hamster doré femelle et nous avons montré que cette action s’exerçait avec la même intensité sur les vers des deux sexes.
Abstract
We describe here an experiment, the results of which confirm the protecting effect of hormone oestrogen during an experimental infection with Schistosoma mansoni in golden female hamster. Further-more this experiment shows that the hormone oestrogene does not modify the sex-ratio of the worms.
