Study of ocular Toxoplasmosis in the West Side of France : a new approach
Abstract
The authors report twelve cases of ocular Toxoplasmosis diagnosed in Region of Nantes from 1965 to 1972 and insist on the necessity to conduct comparative examinations of serum and aqueous humour. Indeed it is not possible to establish a diagnosis of ocular Toxoplasmosis only with the clinical lesions. The authors claim the hypothesis that most of the cases of ocular Toxoplasmosis would be the fact of the cyst rupture in the retina, the origin of these cysts being prenatal.
