Abstract
The comparative study between the types specimens and other specimens of H. tatricus from different countries shows that the presence of a « bridge » between the rook of the externo-dorsal rays is a constant feature, characteristic of H. tatricus. This species, which parasitizes different Microtidae, has a wide geographical distribution (Carpathians, Austrian and French Alps) but is limited to mountainous areas.
