Skrjabinelazia Sypliaxov 1930 (= Salobrella Freitas 1940), genre de transition entre Cosmocercidés et Spirurides

Description des femelles de Skrjabinelazia galliardi n. sp., parasite de Gonadotes humeralis, (Saurien Sphaerodactylide) à Bélem (Brésil). L’espèce, proche de Salobrella intermedia a cependant des caractères très particuliers : coexistence de 2 types de femelles, les unes grosses, ovipares, avec œufs à coque rouge vif sur le vivant, les autres petites, vivipares.
Le genre Salobrella est placé en synonymie de Skrjabinelazia (Seuratidae - Skrjabinelaziinae) ; il donne une bonne image de la transition entre les Cosmocercoidea (genre Maxvachonia) qui restent proches de Rhabditides ancestraux et les Spirurides vrais (genre Thelazia). Les caractères larvaires de S. galliardi (dent d’éclosion simple, œsophage avec portion pharyngée) confirment l’appartenance aux Ascaridina et non aux Spirurida.
Abstract
Description of the female of Skrjabinelazia galliardi n. sp., from Gonadotes humeralis (Sphaerodactylidae), Belém (Brazil). The species is closely related to Salobrella intermedia, but has many peculiarities : coexistence of big, oviparous females with bright red eggshell, and of small viviparous females.
The genus Salobrella is synonymised with Skrjabinelazia (Seuratidae-Skrjabinelaziinae). It shows the transitional characteristics between Cosmocercoidea (genus Maxvachonia) which remain related to ancestral Rhabidits and the Spirurida sensu-stricto (genus Thelazia). The larval characteristics of S. galliardi (simple birthtooth, oesophagus with a pharyngeal portion) are evidence for their appartenance to Ascaridida and not to Spirurida.
