Description de Pachyporospora retorta n. sp., Grégarine parasite de Macropipus holsatus (F.). Les différences entre Pachyporospora et Porospora sont dans la forme du protomérite et la morphologie du deutomérite des primites.
Abstract
Pachyporospora retorta n. sp., a parasite of the Crab Macropipus holsatus (F.) offers a typical development of the Porosporidae until adult age, nothing is known yet about the rest of the life history. This genus is characterised by the malleability of the primite protomerite, and by the presence of numerous discoidal plates of protoplasme in the fore part of its nucleus.
Three species are now classified in this genus:
P. lamellaris (Bogolepova) 1953 in « coastal Crabs »,
P. laubieri Théodoridès 1961 in Atelecyclus septemdentatus (Mont.),
P. retorta, n. sp. in Macropipus holsatus (F.).
