Abstract
The author reports the outlines of the biological cycles of acridiophagous Diptera (Anthomyiidae, Tachinidae Acemyiini and Ormiini, Nemestrinidae), previously studied in his Doctor’s degree thesis.
He gives, for every species, an analysis of the biology of these Insects during their imaginai and pre-imaginal life ; he shows the interactions between hosts and parasites, and the manifestations of parasitic specificity.
Comparison between different ways of life reveals in these entomophagous some characteristics of protelian parasitism such as diversity, signification, importance of several parasitical phasis, degrees of influence of host and parasite on the modalities of parasitism, and probable origin of parasitism.
