The 2025 Impact Factor (2026 Journal Citation Reports™, Clarivate) for Parasite reaches 2.8, a 16.7% rise from the previous year. The journal's CiteScore remains steady at 4.4 reflecting the sustained citation impact and enduring relevance of research published in the journal.
This progress highlights the confidence the global parasitology community places in Parasite. As a Gold Open Access journal, Parasite serves as an essential outlet for original research, reviews, and case studies spanning all areas of parasitology, from fundamental biology to clinical applications.
