Map with the locations of the campaigns and the population areas used in this study. Population areas usually correspond to a geographic entity (river, valley, plain, urban area, or coastline). In blue, the eight locations where the sampling was performed, and in grey, the population areas (bold lines represent the boundaries of each population area). The place of residence of the participants was assigned to the population areas, as the sampling location does not always correspond to the place of residence.
