Lymphocyte proliferation responses of immunised mice. Two weeks after the last immunisation with rTgPGAM 2 or PBS, splenocytes, siIELs and PP lymphocytes were prepared and counted in a haemocytometer (A, B and C). In addition, splenocytes were cultured with ConA or rTgPGAM 2 and splenocyte proliferation (D) was measured with a CCK-8 assay. The splenocyte proliferation results are expressed as the mean stimulation index (SI) ± SD (n = 10) and are representative of three experiments. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01 (vaccinated vs. PBS group).
