Quantification of DNA following extraction from stool samples (Cryptosporidium and Giardia) and white blood cell samples (Leishmania). This table presents the number of positive experiments and the mean number of molecular targets detected from four different samples for each parasite. The same quantity of each sample was tested with and without FastPrep disruption.
