Article-processing charges

Parasite is an open-access journal: it is freely and widely available to all readers via the Internet.

The cost of our peer review, editorial and publishing services is covered by an Article-Processing Charge (APC).

The APC is € 1200 (+ VAT for European residents) per article, whatever the length of the article. The information for payment is sent along with the proofs.

A few partial or total fee waivers can be granted by the Editor-in-Chief, on a case-by-case basis.
