Étude des migrations quotidiennes chez les Limnées tronquées (Galba truncatula Müller ) saines et parasitées par Fasciola hepatica L.

Les populations de Galba truncatula présentent des migrations verticales quotidiennes. Le comportement de Mollusques sains provenant de la nature et du laboratoire est comparé à celui de Limnées infestées par les formes larvaires de Fasciola hepatica. Contrairement aux individus sains, les Limnées en fin de cycle parasitaire sont beaucoup plus aquatiques. Cette adaptation éthologique est à mettre en relation avec la sortie des cercaires de leur hôte intermédiaire.
Abstract
The populations of Galba truncatula present daily vertical migrations. The behaviour of sound snails living in nature or in laboratory cultures is compared with snails infected by the larval forms of Fasciola hepatica. Contrary to the sound ones, the snails at the end of the parasitic evolution are more affected by the wet medium they live in. This ethological adaptation can be connected with the cercarial emergence from the snail host.
